About

Built by a reader, for readers

Readry started the way a lot of useful tools do: with one person mildly annoyed. I love my e-reader and wanted to read everything on it — but the newsletters I subscribed to were stuck in my inbox, the paid services for sending them onward felt expensive for what they did, and half the things I wanted to read were not available as newsletters at all.

So I built the pipeline I wanted: forward an email, get a proper ebook on my Kindle. Clean typography instead of email formatting. A table of contents and chapters instead of a wall of scroll. And because e-ink browsers are miserable, every link becomes a QR code — when a reference is worth chasing, my phone handles it.

What Readry believes

  • The core service stays free. Sending your newsletters to your Kindle costs nothing and has no delivery limits. That is not a trial — it is the point of the project.
  • Reading deserves a reading device. Long-form writing is better on a screen with no notifications, no feeds, and nothing to tap. Every feature exists to move words onto that screen with less friction.
  • Premium pays the bills, honestly. Premium adds curated news sources, Google Drive delivery for devices without the Kindle app, and custom schedules — features with real ongoing costs. Subscribing supports the free tier for everyone.
  • Readers steer the roadmap. Sources and features get built because readers ask for them. Got a site you want on your e-reader? Tell us.

Where to start

The how it works page walks through the whole pipeline, the devices pages cover Kindle, Kobo, reMarkable, Boox, and Supernote, and the blog collects our guides and essays on reading better. Questions, ideas, or a bug to report? Email [email protected] — a human reads every message.

Happy reading

That is how every Readry announcement has ever ended — and it is still the goal.
