Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Readry, operated at https://readry.com (“Readry”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Readry.

1. The service

Readry converts email content you forward to your personal Readry address into ebook-formatted documents and delivers them to destinations you configure, such as a Kindle email address or a connected Google Drive folder. Some features are free; others require a paid Premium subscription as described on our pricing page.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in codes are sent there.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Readry.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Readry to send spam, malware, or unlawful content;
• forward content you do not have the right to access or reproduce — for example, circumventing paywalls you have not paid for;
• attempt to disrupt the service, probe its infrastructure, or access other users’ data;
• resell or white-label the service without our written consent.

Readry is designed for personal reading use. We may throttle or suspend accounts whose usage patterns indicate abuse.

4. Your content

Content you forward to Readry remains yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service: receiving, processing, converting, storing, and delivering that content to the destinations you configure. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Premium is billed through Stripe as a monthly or yearly subscription at the prices shown on the pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Plan & billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change; we will notify active subscribers before a change affects them.

6. Third-party services

Delivery depends on third parties we do not control, including Amazon’s Send to Kindle service, Google Drive, and email providers. Their outages, limits, or policy changes can affect deliveries, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

7. Service changes and availability

We work to keep Readry reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Termination

You may stop using Readry and deactivate your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the service or other users.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readry and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you have paid nothing.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page (and by email for significant changes affecting paid subscribers). Continuing to use Readry after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
