Recipe 1: One filter per platform
Most newsletters come from a handful of sending domains, so a single filter can catch dozens of subscriptions:

Recipe 3: The curated shortlist
Broad filters treat all subscriptions equally; your attention should not. A second, narrower filter for your must-reads — for example from:(pragmaticengineer.com OR thebrowser.com) — can forward only those to your e-reader while the rest stay labeled in Gmail.
